A Song For Tomorrow was developed through Nightwood Theatre’s Write FromThe Hip program where it received a public reading in August 2008 under the
direction of Marjorie Chan. The piece was selected for participation in Diaspora Dialogues’ mentorship program in 2009, where the playwright continued development with Marjorie Chan as dramaturge.

I was surprised to discover how much I enjoyed experiencing this play, even though there are no Cantonese gangsters therein. I think the reading’s gonna be awesomer!!!!
